As an alternative to adding the booking widget to your website, you can include a booking URL.

You can also use this to easily add the booking link to your newsletters and other marketing.

Generate and copy a URL

The default URL that displays directs customers to a booking form that lists all available booking types at the venue.

You don't have to select any additional parameters; however, if you choose, you can set multiple parameters at the same time.

📌Note: Only booking types that you've set to Can Book for at least one day of the week display on this form.

To access and customise the booking link, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Settings, then click Sites and select the site.

  2. Click Booking widget & links.

  3. Under Booking URL Generator, complete the fields:

    • Booking Type.

    • Date.

    • Start Time.

    • Duration.

    • Number of Guests.

  4. Click the copy image.png icon to use on your desired platforms.

🤓Tip: You can add the booking URL to your social media, like Facebook or Instagram.

Fixing parameters

You can fix specific parameters of your booking URL.

This is particularly useful if you have lots of booking types set up and want to direct your customers to a specific booking type.

For example, if you're sending a newsletter for NYE and want to direct customers to a booking link that only displays your NYE booking type.

⚠️Important: The parameters you fix on your booking link must match the settings of your booking types.

For example, if you've added a NYE booking type that's only available on the 31st of December and starts at seven pm, you could fix the booking type, date, and time on the booking link.

📌Note: Customers clicking on the link are directed to the form with pre-populated values.

If you've fixed all the booking parameters on your URL, customers clicking on the link are directed straight to the second iframe and aren't prompted to select any parameters.
