If your Booking widget is slow or is showing an error when trying to make a booking, this can be caused by having too many old and expired rules set up for the site in Access Collins.
Please check the below for rules that might be slowing down the performance of your booking widget:
Override rules in each booking type
Click Settings, Sites and choose your site.
Click Booking types.
Go into each booking type and scroll to override dates.
Delete the old rules that you no longer need.
Click Save at the top of the left-hand side menu.
Override rules in the sites opening times
Click Settings, Sites and choose your site.
Click on Opening times and scroll to override dates.
Delete the old rules that you no longer need.
Click Save at the top of the left-hand side menu.
Unavailable Dates
Click Settings, Sites and choose your site.
Click on Unavailable dates, check in close all booking type and each booking type if there's any closed date.
Delete the old rules that you no longer need.
Click Save at the top of the left-hand side menu.
Close Areas
Click Settings, Sites and choose your site.
Click Close areas.
Delete the old rules that you no longer need.
Click Save at the top of the left-hand side menu.
If after clearing your old rules the booking widget is still slow or returning an error message, reach out to us and advise which site this is a problem for.
