Once a card has been authenticated, it cannot be unauthenticated, even if the customer decides to cancel their booking.
Clicking Claim won't accidentally take any money. It's a two-step process, and in the second step, you'll be asked to enter the exact amount you'd like to claim.
If a claim is made for X amount of money, the customer will then automatically receive an email letting them know that the venue has made a claim of this amount.
🤓Tip: Assure the customer that no money has been taken from their account and that nothing will be debited.
