If you don't want to auto-confirm your tables back-to-back, you have the option to include five, 15, or 30-minute buffer in your service.
Buffer time refers to the extra time added before or after a booking. For example, the Buffer before mins setting adds additional time before the start of a booking.
This ensures there is a gap between consecutive bookings, allowing for preparation or transition time. Buffer time is specifically applied to autoconfirmed bookings, ensuring adequate spacing between bookings.
Click Settings, Sites, then choose the site.
Click Booking types and choose the booking type.
Scroll down to Auto-Confirm Rules and select which length buffer you'd like to add from the drop-down.
To apply the buffer when using Find Areas, tick Apply buffer to admin. This affects searches in Diary, Floorplan, Runsheet, and Enquiries.
Click Save.
📌Note: The buffer is linked to the time slot interval and works off the booking intervals when suggesting available tables.
