To remove the option for the customer to choose a duration on your widget, follow the steps below:
Click Settings, Sites, and select the site.
Click Booking types, and select the booking type.
Scroll to Remove Fields, and check the Duration ('until time') box.
Click Save.
⚠️Warning: When removing the duration field, Access Collins will set all bookings of this type to be until close, so we don’t recommend ticking this if the booking type has auto-confirm rules set up, as it will book out the assigned table for the whole night.
If you just want to limit duration, use the min, max durations from the Availability section.
Remove the Until field from the booking widget
To remove the Until field from the widget so it is not visible to the customer, your web developers can override the CSS to remove the field from our developer's documentation.
To remove the duration field and make sure that bookings are booked in for a set duration and not until your close time, you can do this by following the steps below:
Uncheck the 'Duration (until time)'.
Scroll down to Availability.
Min Duration & Max Duration: Set both to the required duration.
Scroll back up and uncheck the 'Duration (until time)'.
Click Save.
This will then allow Access Collins to default the duration and blank out the Until time field.
🤓Tip: If you want to set different durations depending on the size of the booking, instead of filling out the durations within Availability, you'll need to complete the Rules Dependent on Number of Guests section.
