Set up a new rule
You can allocate customers a specific duration when they make a booking based on the group size by following the steps below:
Click Settings, then click Sites and select the site.
Click Booking Types, then select the required booking type.
Scroll to the Rules Dependent on Number of Guests section.
Fill in the Guests from, Guests to, and max duration fields.
Click Save.
⚠️Warning: Please make sure that the min duration for this rule does not exceed the max duration set under availability in the booking type otherwise it will not be possible for guests to make the booking.
Copy rules
To easily set up the same or similar duration on other booking types, you can copy an existing rule by following the below steps:
For example, you may have the same durations for lunch and dinner.
Click Copy from type.
Select the booking type you wish to copy the rules from.
Click Save.
