See what the DMN listings page is
Your DesignMyNight venue page is your main promotional page, containing all the information about your site. This is where most of your customer traffic comes to view your site and events.
It's the hub for everything going on at your site. Your Access Collins booking widget pulls through to this page, and any events you list on Tonic link through too.
Tip: As this is the page that gets the most traffic on DesignMyNight, we advise that you spend time making sure it’s as clear and informative as possible.
For more info, you can download this guide, which includes images.

Venue tab details
You can update your venue in DesignMyNight using the tabs, please see below for more information:
Venue details
🤓Tip: See the editorial guidelines at the bottom of this article before completing your description.
Update the basic information about your site including the address and contact information.
Venue description: Assume that the reader knows nothing about your venue, so give a full description of what to expect. To help you stand out, boast about any cool, quirky features, any interesting historical facts or any awards that you’ve received.
Why should our audience book into your venue? The more information that you give, the more likely you'll feature in the Recommended Lists on DesignMyNight and newsletters, increasing your exposure.
Notification email: This is the email address that your customer reviews are sent to. You can set up multiple email addresses by separating email addresses with a comma.
View your page: You can view what your page looks like to customers.
Photos
The first thing that potential customers see is your video and photos. We can’t stress the importance of great photos;
Photos: The top photo is the main one on your profile and appears as a thumbnail in features and searches, so make sure it's the best one. We recommend the following subject matter for your venue photos:
Full venue shots.
Any quirky detail photos, to separate you out from everyone else.
Food and drink.
Tip: Having just pictures of food or close-ups of people in your venue isn’t the best to attract bookings. You want to add high-resolution images of your venue.
Blurry images reflect poorly on you and aren’t very useful. For the best results, images should be a minimum 620x350 landscape.
Youtube Video: Add a video clip. This is the first item to appear in your gallery, before any images.
Google 360 Embed: Paste the Embed HTML code for your Google 360 tour.
Categories
This is a quick way of giving an indication of what your venue is like; the type of music, type of venue, etc.
🤓Tip: To maintain the integrity of the search, only select relevant categories. Our editorial team reviews any changes and removes any irrelevant categories.
Features
Select what features your site has, including disabled facilities, pool table etc.
Average Age: Give customers an idea of what to expect.
Queue Buster: The time queues start to form on busy nights, or if customers need to book or buy a ticket.
Food & Drink
Food: Your venue isn't marketed on the DesignMyNight website without food or drink menus.
We recommend that you upload your menus, so customers can get a clear indication of the type of food and drink on offer and the prices to expect.
Venues with uploaded menus get more bookings and it helps manage customer expectations, which avoids getting reviews that things were not as expected.
The menus can be uploaded to the Food section.
Drink prices: Select what drinks are available at your venue and set a price.
📌Note: You need to update your menus on your venue page as and when you change them.
Opening times
Let potential customers know when you're open, and if you’re open for special dates like bank holidays.
Venue hire
If you have areas or a full venue that customers can privately hire, fill in this section.
We've noticed an increase in private hire where the venue has completed this section. The main sections to complete are; Space, Type, Capacity and Min Spends.
Reviews
Reviews are a big booking driver, here you can view and reply to user reviews. DesignMyNight is now recognised on Google as an official review platform.
We recommend that you set up automatic follow-up emails for your reviews.
📌Note: Your responses are public and show on your profile page.
