Set up a Guest list booking type

This section explains how to set up a guest list in Access Collins, allowing customers to sign up easily.

Enquiry Guestlist booking type

To set up a guest list booking type:

  1. Click Settings, Sites, and select your site.

  2. Click Tables/Areas and then Add another.

  3. Name the area Guest list, and enter the max number of people for the Max Seated and Max People.

  4. Check the Multiple groups and Guest list boxes and click Save.

  5. Click Booking Types and then Add booking type.

  6. Name this booking type and check the Guest list box next to Kind of booking type.

  7. If needed, you can check the Require all guest list names box to require the gender of everyone on the guest list.

  8. In the Availability section, check the days boxes where you want and enter in the earliest booking time.

  9. Add the maximum number of people.

  10. Click Save.


Auto-confirmed Guestlist booking type

To make this an auto-confirm guestlist:

  1. Click Add another under the Auto-confirm rules in the same booking type.

  2. Add the same availability and check the days, and enter the max number of people.

  3. Below this, under Areas for this Booking Type, click Edit Areas under Areas of this booking type, check the Guest list area in the pop-up window, and click Done.

  4. Click Save.
