What is the right to be forgotten?

The right to be forgotten your right to have private information about you removed from internet searches and other directories under some circumstances.

Under article 17 of UK GDPR, individuals have the right to have personal data erased. The right only applies to data held at the time the request is received.

It does not apply to data that may be created in the future.


Remove a customer from the database

⚠️Warning: Once you complete this action you can't undo it.

To remove a customer from your database, follow the steps below:

  1. In Access Collins, click the Customers tab.

    • If you can't see this tab, contact your system administrator.

  2. Search for and select the customer.

    • You can search for the customer's name or email address.

  3. Open up the customer's profile.

  4. Click Forget.

  5. In the warning window, click Confirm.

📌Note: It can take a few minutes to update, depending on how many bookings the customer has in the system.

All bookings remain in the system for reporting purposes, however, all personal data in the booking is anonymised.
