Set up an auto-confirm only booking type

Enable instant booking of selected types via the widget, without requiring venue approval.

Auto-confirm is a great feature to save you time as the system confirms the bookings for you automatically according to your auto-confirm rules.

To set up auto-confirm rules, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Settings, then click Sites and select a site.

  2. Click Booking Types.

  3. Click Add booking type.

    • You can set up a blank booking type or use one of the templates.

  4. In Availability, enter the Max Enquiry Size.

    • Make this the same as the maximum booking size you're happy to be auto-confirmed.

  5. Scroll down to Auto-confirm rules and click Add Another.

  6. Select the days this booking type is available.

  7. Enter the same number for Max Guests as you did for Max Enquiry Size.

  8. Select if you want to take enquiries for bookings that don't fit the auto-confirm criteria:

    • Allow enquiries: Select Still take enquiries for bookings if no available areas found.

    • Not allow enquiries: Do not select Still take enquiries for bookings if no available areas found.

  9. Click Edit Areas and select the tables and areas to assign this booking type to.

  10. Click Done, then click Save.

🤓Tip: To make sure it works you can test your booking type rules, or make a test booking through the booking widget on your website.
