Sources are different avenues that your enquiries and bookings can come from. To keep track of which third parties are sending you the most bookings, which bookings come in over the phone, or how many bookings originate from your own website, use the Source Breakdown report.

📌Note: You can also keep track of your booking origins using Google Analytics.

Run the Source Breakdown report

📌Note: This report automatically updates every hour.

To run the Source Breakdown report, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Reports tab.

  2. Click Source Breakdown.

  3. Click Booking Date and select a date range, then click Apply.

    • The report automatically displays the details for the previous month.

  4. To download the report, click Download.

Read the data

If you have multiple sites in your organisation, you can see their total at the top of the page, and each individual site underneath.

For each site and source, you can see how many guests, bookings, pre-booked values, and their statuses:

  • Confirmed.

  • In Progress.

  • Rejected.

  • Lost.

  • Total: Shows the conversion percentage.

Bookings without a source

The Totals report shows your results across all sites. This also includes bookings and enquiries that don't have a source. The individual site breakdown doesn't include bookings and enquiries without a source.

Values column

The Values column shows the monetary revenue of the booking, rounded down to the nearest full pound. To view the exact value to the penny, you need to download the report.

View the source from a booking

📌Note: By default, you see your own website and DesignMyNight in the Source field. However, you can add personalised sources in your Access Collins admin.

You can view the source of a booking from the booking itself by following the steps below:

  1. Click Diary.

  2. Select a booking and click View Booking.

  3. See the source of the booking in the Source field.
