Collins Call Evo Release Notes

Overview

This release enhances the customer booking experience with improved post-booking communication and transparency. Customers now receive email confirmations with booking management options and can review venue policies directly from their booking confirmation page.


New Features

Email Confirmation for Bookings

Customers who provide their email address via the SMS booking link now receive a Collins booking confirmation email. The confirmation email includes full booking details and standard modify/cancel options, matching the format of regular Collins booking confirmations.

User Benefit: Customers have a permanent record of their booking and can easily manage changes or cancellations through the email link, improving the overall booking experience.


Booking Policy Display on Confirmation Page

The booking details page, accessed via the SMS confirmation link, now displays the venue's complete booking policy. The policy shown reflects the specific booking type and venue configuration set within Collins, ensuring customers see relevant restrictions and terms.

User Benefit: Customers can review important venue policies and restrictions before their visit, reducing misunderstandings and ensuring they're fully informed about booking conditions.
