What's New
Enhanced Pronunciation Control
Venue managers can now configure custom phonetic spellings for venues where Collins Call EVO may struggle with pronunciation. This ensures your AI assistant speaks venue names naturally and accurately during customer calls.
How It Works
Configuration
Access the Collins Call EVO dashboard and navigate to your venue settings
Select the cog icon next to the venue you wish to configure
Find the new Phonetic Label field located directly below the standard Phone Number Label field
Enter a phonetic spelling that guides proper pronunciation (e.g., "Bow-sham Arms" for "Beaucham Arms")
During Calls
When processing booking requests, Collins Call EVO uses the phonetic label for speech pronunciation
This ensures venue names sound natural and are easily understood by customers
SMS Communications
Booking confirmation SMS messages continue to display the proper venue name from the Phone Number Label field
This maintains brand consistency and ensures customers see the correct venue spelling in written communications
The same applies to pre-order and deposit SMS messages
Default Behaviour
If no phonetic label is configured, Collins Call EVO defaults to pronouncing the venue name as shown in the Phone Number Label field
Existing venues will continue to function as before until a phonetic label is added
Benefits
Improved customer experience - Natural-sounding venue name pronunciation during calls
Brand consistency - Correct venue spelling maintained in all text communications
Simple configuration - Easy-to-use interface for setting phonetic labels
