Booking statuses explained

See the explanation of each booking status.

There are different statuses that a booking can be in, please see below for details of each:

  • Take: These are your completely new enquiries that have come through your widget. You've not replied to this booking yet and it's not assigned to anyone.

  • In progress:

    • These are enquiries that someone has assigned to themselves but aren't yet confirmed bookings.

    • You should assign action labels to these so everyone can see why they're not confirmed.

  • Confirmed: These are your confirmed bookings. In reports, these are often listed as Completed.

  • Cancelled:

    • Cancelled bookings are bookings you have rejected or have been cancelled by the customer.

    • Cancelled bookings show in the diary under cancelled bookings and the guest receives a cancellation email.

  • Lost: These are non-confirmed enquiries with dates in the past.

  • Deleted:

    • Deleted bookings are bookings you have deleted.

    • These do not show in the diary and the guest will not receive a cancellation email when a booking is deleted.

    • To view Deleted enquiries, add a status filter and select Deleted.

You can change an in-progress enquiry to rejected or confirmed within the enquiry by following the steps below:

  1. Select the enquiry.

  2. Click Confirmed or Rejected.

  3. Click Save.
