Set up same-day booking rules

Stop same-day bookings or enquiries.

You can stop taking bookings or enquiries whenever you need.

You can configure it for the whole site or per booking type.

For specific booking types

  1. Click Settings, Sites and select your site.

  2. Click Booking Types and select the booking type.

  3. Scroll down to the Availability section and select the time you want to shut the same-day bookings in the Shut same-day bookings column.

  4. Click Save.


For the entire site or venue

Close off all bookings for the same time at a certain date

  1. Click Settings, Sites and select your site.

  2. Click Unavailable dates.

  3. Under the Latest time for same-day bookings section, enter the time in the latest booking drop-down by the relevant days.

  4. You can also add in a message that will appear on the front-end calendar on the widget to your guests.

  5. Click Save.

📌Note: You can also add this in half-hour increments before the booking start time. For example if you set this to 30 min, if the customer would like to book for 6 pm, the latest time they would be able to make a booking is 5:29 pm.

Close booking at all on a certain day fir that same day

  1. Click Settings, Sites and select the site.

  2. Go to Unavailable dates.

  3. Under the Latest time for same-day bookings section, check the no same-day bookings by the relevant day.

  4. You can also put in a message that will appear on the front-end calendar to your guests.

  5. Click Save.

Stop taking bookings for X amount of days before the booking date

This can be set up using Latest Advance Bookings . If this is set up, you do not need to add a shut same-day bookings time.

📌Note: If you are closing same day bookings, you do not need to shut same day bookings in the Unavailable Dates section as this will override your Booking Type rules.
