You can add an extra field to your booking widget for the customer to enter information into.
This is especially useful if you need to request a membership number from the guest when booking or need any other extra information from them like dietary requirements, type of occasion.
The custom field appears on the second iframe on your widget.
This information will feed through to the function sheet and customised run sheet if you select this.
📌Note: The custom field will always appear on the function sheet in the customer details section under ADDITIONAL DETAILS, as long as it's filled in on the booking.
Set up a custom field
⚠️Important: To set this up, you have to be an admin and to have access to all sites; otherwise you won't see the Organisation settings.
To add custom fields:
Click Settings, then Organisation.
Click Custom Field (Beta) from the left-hand menu.
Click Add Custom Field and enter the label for the custom field.
Select the Type of Input and click Add.
Click Save.
Get notifications for custom field bookings
For any auto-confirm bookings where information is entered into the custom field, you will also receive a notification in the notification centre.
In order for this notification to appear in the list of notifications, please make sure the booking custom field is filled out at the organisation level.
To do this:
Click Settings, then Organisation.
Click Bookings in the left-hand menu.
Under Custom Field, complete the box next to Booking custom field.
Click Save.
